spring!

I'm so ready for spring. Here are my top 5 reasons why...

5. The windows open in the house and car
4. More sunshine
3. Breaking the grill out
2. No jacket
1. Unashamedly wearing my flip flops!!!!!

Summer will be here soon and I really can't wait for that! Break out the swimming pools!

On with Spring

So Thanksgiving and Christmas are long gone for this winter and Lilian had her second birthday....so Spring can begin anytime. There's nothing left that is worth having winter. After a couple of warmer days...into the 50's!...I think God must be teasing us! Maybe He's trying to get our attention or give us hope for the warmer days ahead...that is once we complete all the frigid days of course:) Don't get me wrong I don't "hate" winter. I'm just done with it. We had some snow days with a beautiful white blanket and I'm sure a bunch of the bugs were killed off so I say, "On with Spring!"

My little girl is turning 2!

I can't believe she is about to turn 2! It amazes me how awesome God is that an idea would turn into a growing little human then be born and grow into such a curious little person. Lilian will be 2 on Thursday and today we celebrated with our family. It was so much fun. She unwrapped the gifts and was super excited about everything even the cards. I made her a blue's clues cake since that is our current favorite. It was a bit of work but totally worth it - Especially when she shouted out "Tues, Tues!" That's Lilian for Blue's clues:) Another milestone...now to really hit up potty training:)
